Arthur W. Rowe Best Paper Award

In 2018, the Society for Cryobiology established the Arthur W. Rowe Best Paper Award, to recognize the most outstanding paper published annually in Cryobiology. The award is named for founding member of the Society, Arthur W. Rowe, who has provided immeasurable service to the Society for Cryobiology, including 22 years as Cryobiology Editor-in-Chief from 1972-1994.

Aim 
To recognize and publicize outstanding research published in Cryobiology.
Eligibility
There is no application required. All papers published in Cryobiology during the calendar year are automatically considered eligible for the award. The Cryobiology editorial board reviews the papers and selects the winner by March 1st. 
Award

The corresponding author of the winning paper will be invited to attend the Society's Annual Meeting (funding provided) where they will receive a plaque in recognition of the award and be invited to present their research in a special awards session.
